Why I Fell off the Blogging Train

So earlier in the year, I started a blog. I was pretty active on it for a couple months and then I quit.

Blogging is HARD! I was feeling so uninspired. I was under the impression that blogs needed to be super long and detailed, and I just didn’t have time for that along with Instagram and school and work and everything else I have going on. I’ve recently realized that they don’t HAVE to be anything. They can literally be whatever you want.

I finally know what direction I want to go with my social media. I have so many ideas and I think I figured out how to put it all together. So, I’m going to start blogging again.

I’m going to try to vlog my days on my Instagram story, share all kinds of inspiration on Pinterest, and write blogs on top of posting five times a week on Instagram. Wish me luck.

XO, Allison

  1. I’ve been blogging for a year now. While I love it I’ve been inconsistent with it throughout the year. I’m making it a goal of mine next year to get on a consistent schedule.

  2. Everyone goes through periods like this! I’ve had really bad moments where I felt so uninspired and just couldn’t write anything. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s part of being a creator. As long as you get back up on the horse, that’s what matters!

  3. The same thing happened to me. Blogging takes a lot of time and I just fell off for a while! You got this Allison, I believe in you! Can’t wait to read more blog posts from you. Thanks for inspiring me to get back into the blogging game 🙂
