My Morning Smoothie

I recently started drinking smoothies in the morning because I rarely ever have time to sit down and eat breakfast. I’ve been obsessed with this one recently so I figured I’d share it.

What you’ll need:

  • yogurt (I use strawberry banana or vanilla)
  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • raspberries
  • apple juice
  • hemp seeds
  • ground flax seed
  • some kind of protein powder (I use my vanilla lifestyle mix)

I put everything in my magic bullet cup, the yogurt on the bottom, all the fruit, apple juice, then the seeds and powders. Blend for about 30 seconds and that’s it!

Something about this combination is just SO good.

Also, let me just throw out there, I HATE seeds. Especially in drinks. But hemp seeds are softer and crush easily, and add a great taste to the smoothie. I prefer to drink out of a regular cup (as opposed to a straw) and I find it easier to deal with the seeds. The ground flax seed and vanilla lifestyle mix don’t add much flavor but aid in keeping me full all morning.

  1. Sounds delicious! Good choice to add flax seed! They are so healthy! I have started to eat them every day and honestly I also use them to prepare my natural hair gel 🙈


  2. I try to cram alot of veggies into my smoothies so my go to is: spinach, vegegreens, collagen, almond milk, banana, almond milk, oats, and cashew butter! And maybe some hemp hearts and chia for good measure
