2020 Goal: Consistency

I’m not normally one to have New Year’s resolutions or even goals really. But hear me out. These past few months have been hard. Ever since I moved out I can’t seem to get on a schedule. There are so many things I want to do in a day on top of school and work, like go to the gym, cook, clean, go on Instagram, read and I’m sure there’s more that I’m missing. But I can never find the time to do it all.

And the truth is maybe I don’t have the time to do it all every single day. Realistically speaking, I’d like to do more of all of those things then I have been. Being in school part time, and working part time, on top of being an influencer and taking care of my apartment is a lot. Then work picked up due to the holidays, finals hit, and I traveled to my parents twice within a month to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a lot.

I’m in the middle of a 5 week semester break, and thankfully work has slowed down a ton, which means I have way more free time. I’ve finally been able to start working out again and going on Instagram. I’ve been reading a little lately and I love that.

So everyday from here on out, I want to be consistent with every aspect of my life. I want to post on Instagram 4 times a week, go to the gym 4 times a week, read for 20 minutes a day, keep up on cleaning my apartment and doing laundry, and cook for myself more. I know it’s possible, all with consistency.

XO, Allison

  1. You got this! For me it helps to plan what I want to share on Instagram in advance if possible, that way I have content to keep me on track and if something more interesting comes up I can save that post for another time. Happy new year!

  2. Consistency is the thread that holds all goals together. Without it, things fall apart quickly. 💯 Also helps to have a list or plan which you do. Kudos! 🙌
